Having a house cleaner is a luxary..

None of them are "cheap"
If they are, they aren't pricing right. And the problem with that is, we buy supplies, drive , use our gas and put wear and tear on our vehicles, insurance, we also have to keep up with the cost of everything else, we use our time and knowlegde of what products are to be put on what surfaces. Our bodies... it's hard on it and so are the chemicals we breathe while cleaning..

So when we charge what we charge. It's not to be cheap nor expensive. It's to be able to live and keep going. It's to pay the bills, get the kids what they need & It's to help provide for my family. In this world you gotta do what you gotta do to get by.

It's not easy either. So appreciate your cleaners yall. They take the load off of you and try to make life easier.

YOU’RE NOT ALONE. ❤️

To the cleaning business owner who is struggling to find clients…

Who is wondering if you’re doing something wrong.

To the one who feels burnt out, overwhelmed by messages, and exhausted from working all day.

To the one who spends all day cleaning someone else’s house, only to come home with absolutely no energy to clean your own.

To the one who is constantly trying to post, market, answer inquiries, send quotes, schedule clients, clean, restock, do paperwork… and somehow still be a person at the end of the day.
I see you.

This business can be HARD.
Some weeks are fully booked.
Some weeks are painfully slow.
Some days you feel like you’re killing it.
Other days you wonder if you should just quit.
But please remember…

You are building something. ❤️

Keep going. Keep learning. Keep showing up.
And give yourself some grace along the way.
You’re not failing.
You’re figuring it out.

People think house cleaners scrub toilets.

Sometimes… that’s the easiest part of our job.

We walk into homes where people are surviving cancer, grieving spouses, battling depression, raising children alone, caring for parents with dementia, recovering from addiction, or simply trying to make it through another day.

For some clients, we’re the only person they’ll have a real conversation with all week.

Some cry.

Some vent.

Some apologize for the mess, when the mess was never what broke my heart.

The hardest part isn’t the dirt.

It’s hearing someone’s worst day, worst year, or worst chapter… and then seeing the physical evidence of that pain throughout their home.

You leave carrying pieces of stories that were never yours.

And yet, you’d never wish they had kept them to themselves.

This profession is so much more than cleaning.

We restore homes, but sometimes we restore a little bit of hope too.

It’s a weight most people never realize we carry.

And despite how heavy it can be…

Most of us would carry it again tomorrow.
