Hiya! Well, I called Emergency yesterday arvo and they put me through to Nurse on Call. They did an assessment and told me to get to emergency within 24 hours for an iron transfusion. So I did. Was seen to within 20 mins and given a room straight up. Bloods re-done and infusion given. All up, I was in there for a little over 6 hours. Have to have a follow up when my doctor gets back from holidays and organise a gyno consult to see why my iron levels are so fu**ed. And we go from there. Had a cortisone injection into my AC joint Monday, had one into my bursa this morning and have a mammogram booked for tomorrow arvo. So it seems this week is all about my health. See the patterns, listen to your body and take action.

Happy New Year, everyone!!! Just a little health update on me.

So, me being so tired and forgetfull for so long actually has a cause. Extremely low iron. I've been trying to get it higher for about a year now, but it hasn't worked. 2 and a half months ago my Ferritin levels were 15 and Transferrin levels were 5. Yesterday my results were Ferritin

I'm so, so sorry I can't do the LIVE tonight. It's all Jane's fault. We had to go to Portarlington to get her fiancè some seafood. Then we had to stop at a winery coz I'm old and needed the loo. Next thing we are at her place and drinking bubbly. So, let's go for tomorrow night instead. 7.30pm, Geelong time, promise. Now. I'm going to finish the bubbly. Ps. If you go to Bennets Winery, ask for Erin. She did amazing pours. 🤣🤣🤣
