Yesterday marked 31 years since our family opened the doors to our laundrette in the Sutherland Shire. 💙
For us, this business has been more than just work, it has been our whole lives.
We were only 3 and 6 years old when Mum and Dad started this journey back in 1995. We grew up here. After school afternoons folding washing, helping behind the counter, watching the old handwritten tickets pile up, and learning the value of hard work, community and looking after people.
Looking back through these photos brings back so many memories. The old machines, the long days, the familiar faces, and the customers who became like family over the years.
Some of our customers have been with us since the very beginning, and that honestly means the world to us. To still see familiar faces 31 years later is something really special.
What Mum and Dad built all those years ago has now become something we are so proud to continue as their daughters. Carrying on their dream and continuing to serve the community that has supported our family for over three decades is something we never take for granted.
Now, all these years later, we are bringing our own children into the shop to help out too, just like we did growing up. Watching another generation experience the same little moments we grew up with is pretty special.
To every customer, staff member, friend and local supporter, thank you. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us and growing alongside us all these years.
31 years later, we are still family owned, still local, and still just as passionate about what we do. While we’re so proud of the past, we’re even more excited for the future ahead. ✨
