About Us:-
Based in Emerald, Queensland - CQ Commercial Laundry is the leading provider of linen services to the mining & hospitality sectors in Central Queensland. We are a mature business operating for over 30 years. The current operator has owned the business for the last 15 years. Our business has undergone a major plant upgrade recently to nearly triple the plant capacity.
The Role:-
This varied role will see you supporting daily office operations, providing excellent customer service, and assisting various departments across the organisation. You will learn valuable office skills, including data entry, records management, and correspondence handling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Experience: Deliver positive customer service to internal and external clients.
• Administration Support: Assist with accurate data input, records management, filing, and general office tasks.
• Financial Tasks: Assist with basic financial transactions, receipting, and banking processes.
• Communication: Handle correspondence and liaise with other departments and external stakeholders.
• Team Support: Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
About You
No experience is required, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential. This role is ideal for someone who possesses:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (or a willingness to learn).
• A professional and neat presentation.
• A current driver's license and own vehicle (preferable, but not mandatory).
