Winter is upon us, and the mice are out to play. If you have noticed some scratching in the roof or some random bits of food missing from the pantry, it is probably rats or mice. YUK!!!

The garden is starting to come alive, the birds are having babies and most of us are starting to venture out into the yard again. Yes folks spring is upon us and now is the perfect time to start to get that lawn and garden looking good again. You should be pruning your bushes, mulching and adding a bit of slow release fertiliser to your garden beds. You should also be thinking about getting the lawn prepared for summer. It may require de-thatching a good feed or maybe even a topdress, You also need to be on the lookout for lawn grubs in the coming months. It was good to get away for a couple of days on the weekend. Scored a great site, good waves and nice weather.

There is a nice rain event coming this weekend folks. It could be a good time to get some fertiliser on that turf for a bit of an early spring green up. Remember you need that turf to be strong and healthy before you start spraying out the weeds. There is a lot of bindii out at the moment, get it while it is young. Call me if you need any help.
