I'm back to work in the coming week I've had to have some time off for surgery and recovery, which has taken little longer than expected (sorry), but I am back better than ever 😁. So, if you need pest control done before Christmas, be sure to get in touch as our books have been closed and are re-opening starting Tuesday.

Love the nickname of the Newcastle species 😂 BIG BOY 😂

Scientists have discovered that Australia's iconic Sydney funnel-web spider is actually THREE distinct species! 🕷️

Staff at the Australian Reptile Park were amazed by some larger than usual spiders donated to their venom milking program.

This inspired a global team of researchers, including the Australian Museum, to take a closer look to uncover these hidden species through DNA analysis and a review of historical collections.

The new species, the Newcastle funnel-web, nicknamed "Big Boy" is the largest of the trio.
