The one day classroom style course is an advanced level course for the carpet cleaning technician who has reached a reasonable level competence and experience in cleaning carpets and or rugs. This course teaches you how to:

• Identify fibres and gain a higher understanding of their characteristics.
• Understand the cleaning processes relevant to wool, natural and man-made fibres.
• Understand the chemistry and cleaning methods best suited to the cleaning and maintenance of high value wool and natural carpets & rugs.
• Understand dyeing and printing of wool and natural fibres
• Problem solving –safe & effective stain removal.
• Understand pile reversal, pooling or shading, shrinkage and much more.
