Day 9 💪🔥

160 push-ups completed today!

The kids joined in again… but this time they decided to make it a little harder by jumping on my back 😬😂 Definitely added an extra challenge, but we got them done!

Today’s target of 160 push-ups is dedicated to the 1 in 6 Australians who report feeling lonely. A reminder that mental health and connection matter, and sometimes a simple check-in or conversation can make a huge difference.

This challenge isn’t just about the numbers — it’s about starting conversations, supporting each other, and raising awareness for depression and mental health.

Day 8 🚒💪

130 push-ups completed today!

I thought I’d make a slight change today. Being a firefighter with Fire + Rescue NSW, I wanted to show my support for my fellow firefighters and help raise awareness around mental health within emergency services.

To do that, I completed some of today’s push-ups wearing my firefighting gear, including Breathing Apparatus. It was a reminder that while we train and prepare for the physical challenges of the job, mental health is just as important.

Today is also Thank a First Responder Day, making it an especially meaningful day to recognise the dedication, sacrifice, and resilience of all First Responders. Thank you to all the firefighters, paramedics, police officers, Emergency volunteers, and other First responders who serve our communities every day.

First Responders see and experience things that can take a toll over time, and it’s important that we continue to support one another, check in on our mates, and encourage conversations around mental health.

I’m proud to be taking on 3,307 push-ups during The Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for depression and mental health. Every push-up represents a step towards breaking the stigma and encouraging people to seek support when they need it.

Day 6 Complete ✅💪

Another solid day in the books with 170 push-ups completed today!

A big thank you to for lending me his weighted vest at the start of the challenge—it definitely helped add an extra level of difficulty and keep things interesting.

I’ve now got a weighted vest of my own, picked up from EVA Athletic https://evaathletic.com.au?sca_ref=11505558.4ClrHz9u55, and I’m looking forward to putting it to good use for the rest of the challenge.

Day 4 💪❤️

Today’s push-ups turned into a family affair!

The kids got involved and smashed out a few push-ups of their own, and even the wife joined in. We made a couple of pit stops along the way to Coonamble to get today’s reps done, stopping in Gilgandra and Gulargambone.

One of the great things about this challenge is that it’s not just about the push-ups—it’s about starting conversations, raising awareness for mental health, and bringing people together for a great cause.

Another 72 push-ups completed today as I continue my journey towards 3,307 push-ups in 24 days for The Push-Up Challenge.

Decided to mix things up and even tried my hand at some handstand push-ups! Safe to say I’ve got a bit of work to do, but it’s all part of the challenge and keeping things interesting.

Part 1 - Day 1 of The Push-Up Challenge 💪

Kicking things off at home today with my first 25 push-ups wearing a weighted vest.

So close to getting that Ring Muscle Up… not quite there this time 😮‍💨 but still a strong effort and proud to have pushed through the workout.
