Blushing Acres are growers of Mangoes and Avocados in Far North Queensland at Dimbulah just 1.5 hours from Cairns on the Atherton Tablelands. The harvest period is between December and April. Mangoes start in December and finish in Mid-January and then Avocados start in February to finish in April. At least 38 workers are needed to pick and pack fruit. The pruning period is from May to July and at

least 10 employees are needed in this time to prune the trees. Blushing Acres has accommodation on the farm where all employees stay. All accommodation is twin share rooms either in Dongas or Barracks style rooms - the Dongas are ensuite with fridge/freezers and storage space and the Barracks rooms have adjacent kitchen and bathroom. There is a large fully equipped kitchen and laundry room with a large chest freezer.

We are looking for 2 male backpackers with their own car to start work next week (Tuesday 21st August) . The job will go for approximately 3-5 weeks, possibly longer. Message me if you are interested.

Farm Work: Blushing Acres is looking for 8 men to prune our mangoes and avocados. The will go for 3-4 weeks commencing on the 29th May. The days will go towards the 2nd year visa. Preferable to have a car. Accommodation is on the farm. Please message Kylie.
