Blew off the roof
Cleaned the DPipe leaf screeners
Vac'd out the gutters ,
Vac'd under the solar panels,
Vac'd Round the water heater,
Vac'd and cleaned out the Water Tank filters.
Cut back to over hanging jacaranda suckers.

🌿 4 Months… and This Is What Built Up! 🌿
This roof was completely covered in gum tree flowers, sticks and leaves. The flower deposits were thick enough that we had to:
✔️ Blow the roof clean first
✔️ Hand pull larger sticks
✔️ Vacuum and scrape
✔️ Vacuum again
✔️ Final clean-up and blow down of paths and surrounding areas
It’s a full process — not just a quick Vac and go.
The client recently installed downpipe screeners, which has already made a big difference stopping blockages from heading into the main stormwater line đź‘Ť
Next step will likely be adding gutter leaf brushes or removable mesh in the back gutters and heavy valley sections closest to the trees. In high-load areas like this, prevention is key — especially when build-up happens this fast.
And remember…
Wet, decaying gum leaves = rust.
Regular maintenance keeps gutters flowing and helps prevent premature corrosion.
This was only 4 months since our last visit — and the load is already back again.

This job was no walk on roof so used Vac poles and secured ladders on the 2 corners for each way views.

Black Algae and Mould was firmly attached to the ClayPave path and Drive, but we selected eco-friendly, biodegradable mixes and a 4000psi rotary cleaner to avoid compromising the nearby grass. This Black Algae gets very Slippy and smelly in the wet season with the mould no good for breathing.
