Teachers at a local school were shocked when they looked out the window and noticed some unauthorized excavation happening on the front lawn. A wild, long-eared bilby had found its way onto the campus and started furiously digging a deep hole in the dirt. However, the animal had not chosen just any random spot; it was digging directly next to a concrete plaque marking the school's buried 1999 time capsule.
The energetic little marsupial kicked dirt high into the air as it worked, completely oblivious to the historical significance of its chosen digging site. It looked exactly as if the animal was intentionally trying to unearth the long-forgotten school memories all by itself. The staff could only laugh at the bizarre coincidence of a wild creature attempting to play archaeologist on school grounds.
