It has been a cool wet summer and we are finding mould in places you wouldn’t usually.
Some helpful tips:
*Check poor air circulation areas, cupboards, under you bed, behind furniture against the walls.
*Flip your mattress where possible.
*Move curtains away from walls to check behind, where possible tie curtains up during the day to allow airflow.
*Check your leather items- many of our client’s boots and belts are developing a green powdered mould especially in the cupboard or under the bed.
*Moisture build up on windows leads to black mould quickly, make sure blinds and curtains are opened to allow airflow and were possible wipe moisture away regularly.
*Use ventilation fans when cooking or showering, dehumidifiers and moisture absorbing products such as DampRid and Hippo moisture absorbers in cupboards or closed spaces.
*Book in for your regular clean
