💧Cowra Council keeping it local 💧

💦 Urban Pipeline Commencement - Cowra Drought Water Security Project – “Billimari Pipeline”

Council wishes to advise that local contractor, Thompsons Irrifab, will be commencing construction of the Billimari Pipeline (urban portion) on Monday 16 October 2023.

Works on the urban portion of the pipeline will commence with extension of watermains from Pridham Street, down the western side of Glen Logan Road, to the intersection of North Logan Road.

There will be minor traffic delays during construction with traffic control onsite. Works on this section are anticipated to take 6 weeks.

These works form part of the Cowra Drought Water Security Project which seeks to provide Cowra with an alternative water supply source in the event of an emergency.
This Project has been funded via the NSW Government’s Safe and Secure Program.

Landholders along the pipeline route will receive additional communications from Irrifab as the project progresses.

Council looks forward to be working with Irrifab to deliver this portion of the Project!
