🦆 What does customer service mean to us? Sometimes, it’s as simple as a yellow duck.
During our first week out on the road, I got a call on Saturday morning from a family who had just moved into their new home. They’d never owned a pool before and were feeling completely overwhelmed by all the equipment and water chemistry.
I jumped in the van and headed straight over to walk them through their setup step-by-step. They were rapt to have some peace of mind!
When they texted on Sunday morning about a quick issue, I popped right back over to solve it and teach them what to do next time.
But the absolute best part of the weekend wasn't fixing the filter or balancing the water...
When I arrived on Sunday, their little girl was waiting out in the backyard. I told her to wait just one second, ran back to the van, and handed her a Poolwerx rubber duck. You would have thought I had given her the greatest toy on the planet! Her face completely lit up. 💛
At the end of the day, business is about people. It doesn't take much money or effort to make someone feel important and cared for.
And yes... I’ve officially ordered an entire box of ducks now, because that was hands down the best feeling in the world! 📦🐥
