Update on Roxy.
She’s now home after her stay at the vets. A huge thank you to Nat, Victoria, and all the amazing staff at Border Vets Cohuna. They looked after her incredibly well and we can’t thank you enough.
She’s already bored of being stuck inside and is keen to get back to work. She’s got a bit of a recovery ahead, but she’ll be just fine. Tough little girl.

Last night our workshop dog Roxy protected our home by taking on a red-bellied black snake at the back door. She managed to kill it, but unfortunately she was bitten in the process and is now at the vet.
We’re hoping she makes a full recovery.
Sadly, the snake was killed during the incident, which is never something we like to see. Snakes are an important part of our environment, but animals will always protect their territory and family.
Snakes are very active at the moment with the warmer weather, so please be extra careful around your homes and check areas before letting pets or children outside.
We’ll keep everyone updated on Roxy. She’s a tough girl and did what she’s always done — protect her family.
