"Who is Ubuntu?"

We thought it was time to introduce the amazing team behind Ubuntu, starting with our founder, Lara.

💛 Ubuntu (pronounced oo-BOON-too) is an African philosophy meaning:
"I am because we are."
It reflects the belief that we are defined by our compassion, kindness, and connection to one another.

If you're from Cohuna, Kerang, Leitchville, Barham/Koondrook, Swan Hill, or the surrounding communities, you may already know Lara as a friendly local face with a genuine passion for helping others.

Lara founded Ubuntu with a vision of providing personalised, heart-centred support that helps people remain connected to their homes, communities, independence, and wellbeing. She is incredibly proud of how Ubuntu has grown and now leads a dedicated team of compassionate support workers who are making a positive difference in the lives of people throughout our region every day.
