Hi all who are experiencing heavy rainfall. Here is some expert advice from yours truly, expert at cleaning and mould avoidance.
Please please take note. PREVENTION is better than cure.
If you still have power and you value your health and your household items you must do everything you can to circulate and dry the air. SHUT windows in the rain. Run DEHUMIDIFIERS, AIR CON, FANS, light the FIRE, whatever you have at your disposal. The power cost is minimal compared to the heartbreak of ditching half of what you own or living with compromised health due to mould in your house. Ziplock bags/space bags/storage tubs are great provided you put silica gel sachets inside with your belongings. I recommend ordering bulk if you can. I order from silica gel direct. I have large sachets in all my wardrobes and cupboards and smaller ones in every drawer, storage tub etc. Small ones come in your vitamin pill bottles and shoe boxes etc. There's a reason for that. Keep them and use them too.
Go well! Sometimes I have the silica gel sachets in stock if you'd like smaller quantities.
Mould remediation can cost at least $400 per room.
While I often assist people to get strategies in place to reduce mould I do not do full mould remediation services. It's no good for my health.

Hi folks, With extensive moisture in the air many people, myself included have had terrible mould infestations. It is taking weeks to restore my home and after having extensively researched I have just ordered one of these dehumidifiers.

After many years running my own cleaning business and cleaning mould I am at the end of my mould tolerance threshold. I am happy to help you find mould solutions but if you don't want ground hog day with repeated mould issues (which I cannot offer my services for anymore) please take active steps to control the humidity levels in your home.

Time to get ready for Spring! 🍀🌹🍃

In focus this month are the 5 cleaning products I can't live without running my cleaning business.
1. Supre multi purpose cleaner. I use on walls and all sound hard surfaces, to lift grease and grime and as a short term insecticide. Great for cobwebbing and cleaning rafters- the spiders usually take twice as long to come back!
2. Excel bathroom cleaner.
A bacterial cleaner that lifts soap scum and destains. For use in toilet bowls and all bathroom amenities when a quick clean with supre is insufficient due to build up.
Great to destain laminate benches also.
3. Sphagnum moss disinfectant. Hospital grade disinfectant and great value, a 1L concentrate makes 40 x hospital grade 500ml spray bottle refills. Deoderises smells and deters mould. Great for toilet seats etc, air freshener, bins, pet areas, smells, rhodent droppings, sick rooms, pet blankets, air con units etc.
4. Chamomile detergent. I use to wash windows, dishes, non organic fruit and veg wash, spray can be made with a few drops for glass, mop shiny floors, hand wash etc etc.
5. Ultra cream cleanser. For scrubbing sinks to a shine and wall marks that need something more abrasive. Non scratch, smells so good (mint ).
There are of course more specialised products which are ideal for certain tasks like Blitz bbq and oven cleaner, furniture polish, stainless steel polish, carpet cleaner etc and they are great too 😘
The thing I love most about Tri Nature is knowing I can trust what I'm using around my clients and my family, and even for chemical sensitive people I've had no problems with reactions.

Good news in these trying times. I'll be ordering Tri Nature tomorrow and there are a few little gems I'd like to share with you.
IN FOCUS are SANAZONE (kitchen, lunch bags, fridge etc FOOD SAFE) and SPHAGNUM MOSS (bathrooms, bins, per laundry etc) disinfectant. Both are TGA approved hospital grade disinfectant. Avail in a Pre mixed spray bottle $7.95 each or 1L concentrate makes 40 x spray bottles.
(Approx $0.60 per spray bottle refill)
Since I have been informed that COVID-19 can live for up to 9 days on metal surfaces I recommend paying particular attention to door handles, railings and taps. I then wipe off with a dry microfiber cloth and soak in PRE WASH SOAKER before washing.
I have supreme grade cloths available $2ea or 6 for $10
I am also informed that all detergent/soap removes COVID-19 and I'll be stocking up my home with all the basics I use daily.
