Happy New Year everyone!
I wanted to let you all know that January will be my last month of cleaning 🥲 with business ceasing from February 2026.
As much as I love cleaning; my body needs rest to keep growing my bub due in May 🥰
When I first started this business 4 years ago I didn't have a plan and I was definitely naive going into it however how does anyone learn without experiences.
Just some observations:
- You can't please everyone, some people live as if their main purpose in life is to find something to complain about (I didn't experience too many but they're out there lol)
- Being your own boss is super cool but comes with a lot of responsibility, no one to call in sick to, no one to pass on work to, just yourself to rely on.
- When a client tells you it's a "wipe over" 9 times out of 10 it's a lot more than that (sorry property managers but it's true haha)

I'll keep this page up until February so if you need a cleaner I can recommend the lady who has been working alongside me for 3 years.
