Last week I attended a 2-day course on carpet and upholstery cleaning. It was run by the Australian Carpet Cleaning Institute http://accii.com.au and the presenter, who has been cleaning carpet since 1969(!), really knew his stuff. (He also has a prosthetic leg, which has in no way limited his professional success in Australia and overseas – not to mention his having competed in a para-Olympics!)

I hope to be putting some of what I learnt to practice in the Mid North soon 😁.

A lot of upholstery work has been popping up the past few weeks. This was the first ottoman we’ve cleaned 😁.

No, my son did not create this for a year 8 Maths assignment 😉.
This is me, in a very amateurish way, looking at where the people who’ve had their carpets professionally cleaned in the past two months live.
No earth-shattering conclusions — apart from the fact I’ve traveled to towns further away than anticipated.

Worked at these two guys house today (including cleaning two hide rugs!) 😉. Their owners were happy with the rejuvenated 4 rooms’ carpets and 3 rugs. These two just stood around most of the day chewing grass…

Still enjoying getting out and helping Mid North residents renew and sometimes rescue (!) their carpets — new home buyers, people whose pets have been naughty 😩, those who want to minimise dust, renters who want their bond back and businesses that have high foot traffic.

Some cleaning I even get to do at home🙂 — entry mats for local businesses.

It’s been great to take over the reigns from Rob. In a week and a half I’ve cleaned people’s carpets in Auburn, Burra, Clare, Jamestown, Watervale and Yacka. Loving it!
