After much consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Street Appeal Detailing in Carrum Downs.
From the very beginning, this journey has been nothing short of incredible. I started out detailing from the back of my little i30 – freezing cold in buckets of ice during Melbourne winters, searching for places to “take a leak,” and setting up wherever I could. Then came working out of Mum’s garage (Thanks Ma!) … and eventually, the comfort and pride of opening the studio in Carrum Downs. Looking back now, it’s been a wild ride and one I’ll always carry with me.
To my customers, your trust and support kept me going through every stage. Thank you for letting me care for your pride and joy; it truly meant the world.
To my staff, past and present - Ben, Shane , Heath, Max, and Declan – you guys always went above and beyond. From the early mornings to the late nights, even sleeping at the studio, your loyalty, hard work, and dedication are something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart – thank you, so much. 🥹🙏🏼
As part of closing the factory, two of my guys are sadly losing their jobs. If anyone out there is looking for incredibly hardworking, loyal, and skilled employees, please reach out – these guys are the real deal, and I’d love to see them land somewhere great.
To the business associates and mates I’ve been lucky enough to grow with along the way – Dan from Detail Central and Maddie and the team at BushWrapz and so many more, thank you for the support, the collaborations, and the friendships.
And to my family and friends – thank you for standing by me through all the ups and downs of running a small business. Your encouragement, advice and support has meant everything to me.
Though this chapter is closing, I’ll always look back with pride on what was built here, the people I worked alongside, and the connections that will last far beyond the studio walls.
