Oven clean to end the busy week ✨️🫧

Little tip/trick of the bread hack. 🍞

If you've just cleaned your oven and want to get rid of any lingering chemical smell or residue, the "bread trick" is a simple one:

1. Wipe the oven thoroughly with clean water after using any oven cleaner.
2. Preheat the oven to about 180°C.
3. Place a few slices of plain bread directly on an oven tray.
4. Bake for 10–15 minutes.
5. Discard the bread afterward.

The bread can absorb some remaining odours and may help identify if any cleaner residue is still present (the bread may develop an unusual taste or smell if residue remains).

A more important step is making sure you've rinsed all cleaning product residue away and run the empty oven for 15–30 minutes before cooking food in it.
