Some photos of a recent heat pump install. A highly efficient hot water system.

This was a Reclaim Energy heat pump. Of all the heat pump installs over the years, this one tops the charts for the least amount of noise. Possibly the largest flaw with a heat pump is the noise that they produce.

This type of heat pump also incorporates a smart controller which can then be accessed via Wi-Fi.

The CO2 Heat Pump has excellent cold weather performance characteristics, meaning there is no need for a boosting element to supplement heating for the unit.

We used Unite Solutions for assistance with the Wi-Fi set up and as per usual, things went extremely smoothly.

Some photos of a finished stormwater project. Customer had a substantial amount of water pooling in their backyard. After some stormwater pits utilising "heel guard" grates and PVC drainage, the issue has since been rectified.
Also, some nice new turf for the wallabies to munch on!

Before the power turns back on after a cyclone, there are several important steps you should take to ensure your safety and the safety of your electrical system. Here are some key tips from us!

1. Wait for Energex: Energex are working hard to restore our power. As electricians we are unable to bring back power before Energex.

2. Treat everything as live: When it’s safe to start cleaning up debris left from the Cyclone, be careful of fallen power lines, debris on powerlines or submerged power.

3. Check for visible damage: Look for signs of damage to power lines, poles, and your electrical panel. If you notice any exposed wires, sparks, or other damage, do not touch anything. Contact your utility company immediately.

4. Reset circuit breakers: After power is restored, check your electrical panel for any tripped breakers. If a breaker has been tripped, reset it by turning it off and back on. If they do not turn back on, leave them and call a licenced electrician.

5. Turn appliances on gradually: To prevent overloading the system, start by turning on a few appliances at a time, especially large ones like air conditioners, refrigerators, or water heaters. This will help the electrical grid stabilise.

6. Watch for flickering lights: If your lights flicker or appliances behave erratically, it could be a sign of an issue with your electrical system. Call an electrician to inspect it.

7. Be patient & be safe: although having no power is frustrating, the safety of yourself and your family is priority. If unsure of the safety of your home call a licenced electrician for advice.

A successful drain clean using the high pressure jetter machine, followed up with using our drainage inspection camera on a residential septic system. The customer was extremely happy as they had assumed they'd need an entire new system installed!
