Pool Service Technician

Full Time Position

Brisbane Pool Boys is a locally owned and family run business that is looking to expand their team.

Based in Morning side, our small team work closely together to help all customers in our monthly regular service run along with our retail outlet.

Our service team works Mon – Fri and a rostered Saturday when required.

We seek an enthusiastic, honest person with common sense to join our team.

Experience in pool servicing is an advantage however it is not necessary as we will provide on the job training.

Job Description

* Cleaning of swimming pools in a residential setting

* Water testing and balancing of chemicals (training provided for this if unfamiliar)

* Cleaning/ maintaining filtration equipment.

* Installation and trouble shooting of automatic pool cleaners

* Organization of stock as required in service vehicles

Applicant Requirements

* Current Manual Driver's license.

* Time management & logical thinking

* Positive attitude & willingness to learn

* Retail experience

* Ability to work well both in a team environment as well as independently

* Good verbal communication skills.

This role is suited for someone who is happy to work both independently and within a team

A manual driver's license is a prerequisite. A vehicle and all equipment required to complete the work required will be provided upon completion of your probation period for your use during work hours.


A positive attitude and customer service skills will be crucial for your success in filling this position.

Still plagued by water boatmen??? We are now stocked up on "No More Bugs" in the shop. We have already sold 3/4 of our recent order so get in quick and get them sorted before Santa comes for a dip!

Plagued by water boatmen?
We have had numerous reports and seen first hand a large amount of water boatmen in QLD pools at the moment. This is a direct result of the La Nina weather patterns and is expected to increase in numbers over the next few months.
This is not a reflection on your pool health as they are able to survive in well chlorinated pools.
We have sold out of the chemical required to rid them from your pool but we do have a shipment arriving shortly. We will update on social media once the product arrives.

Don't forget to come in regularly for your free water tests. Happy swimming!

Thanks for everyone's understanding and patience over the last few months with both the unexpected rain events and salt shortages.
