This property was affected by a long-term water leak caused by a leaking pipe, which had been sitting undetected for an extended period. Due to the duration of moisture exposure, the water damage escalated to Category 3, resulting in severe mould growth on the ceiling, along with visible bubbling, bowing and material deterioration.

Extended water exposure allowed moisture to saturate the ceiling cavity and plasterboard, creating ideal conditions for mould to grow behind and through the lining. Once identified, our team established full containment to prevent cross-contamination and protect the surrounding areas of the home.

We attended a property following a ceiling leak caused by a broken roof tile. Over time, water ingress had created a visible water stain on the plasterboard ceiling and elevated moisture levels within the surrounding structure.

Once the affected ceiling area was opened up, mould growth was identified behind the plaster. This is a common issue with roof leaks, as water can sit trapped above ceilings and inside insulation for extended periods before the damage becomes obvious from inside the home.

This property was affected by Category 3 water damage, which resulted in extensive mould growth behind wall cavities and across plaster surfaces. Category 3 water is highly contaminated and presents significant health and safety risks if not handled correctly.

Our team attended the site and established full containment to prevent cross-contamination throughout the property. All works were carried out in line with IICRC procedures, including controlled removal of affected materials, detailed cleaning, antimicrobial treatment and professional structural drying.
