Does your taps look like this?
Lemon is not only great for lightening blonde hair naturally it also removes hard water stains from your taps the natural way!
Simply cut a lemon in half, and give your taps a good rub down. Leave it on for a few minutes or longer, then rinse with warm water. Hard to believe that a lemon can be so powerful. The best part is that you don’t have to deal with that harsh chemical smell, only the scent of fresh lemons!
Who knew lemons could be so useful?

Tired of the clutter?
Being organised is really quite simple. Doing little jobs daily, helps to keep your home life in order. If you're anything like me panic sets in when there are too many piles around the house ....
Start by clearing a zone. This is your no-clutter zone. It can be a counter, or a side table. Everything in this zone must be put away.
Once you have that clutter-free zone, keep it that way! Now, each day, slowly expand your zone until the whole house becomes your "no-clutter" zone.
Learn to love the uncluttered look. Once you’ve gotten an area decluttered, you should take the time to enjoy that look.

Test 1:
If you want to clean glass and be environmentally friendly, clean the glass with vinegar and water, dry with a lint-free cloth, and rub the glass with newspaper. No streaks! Make sure you use some elbow grease – it requires pressure to properly clean glass.

Test 2:
Alternatively, spray glass cleaner on a paper towel and clean the glass surface. The glass cleaner acts as a shield to help keep spots and dust easy to remove. When misused, glass "cleaner" will leave streaks. You can also use old newspaper to wipe the glass surface after washing; the glass will be streak free and this is a great way to reuse old newspaper.
It is commonly thought that glass cleaner does the cleaning. In fact, it’s meant just to make it sparkly, not to get it clean. It's actually no substitute for soapy water, especially if your mirror is quite dirty.
Here’s how you should clean your windows and mirrors:
First, wash your glass with a solution of warm or hot water, dish soap with a rag, sponge, or squeegee. Powdered no-scratch cleaner works fantastic for cleaning mirrors, glass, ceramics, and metals because it scrubs off hard water residue without scratching the surface. Then wipe down the surface with a dry, lint-free cloth or lint-free paper towels.

Some of the uses of this oil may just surprise you!
By now you probably have at least one jar of coconut oil stocked in your pantry, bathroom and possibly even your bedroom thanks to the myriad uses it offers ....
Undiluted oil cleans ink and crayon stains from most household furniture. Blot the stain to ensure it doesn’t smear, or mix with baking soda to remove stains from carpet.
Use a small amount to moisturise leather and make it shine like new.
Get sticky gum off any surface - even hair! Just rub the oil in, let it sit, then wipe off.
Perfect on wood when mixed with a little lemon juice (but be sure to do a patch test first!).
Let oil soak into a rusty surface for a couple of hours before rubbing off.
Wipe a small amount on wooden chopping boards to clean, sanitise and moisturise.
Clean and reveal a glossy finish by wiping a small amount on leaves.
Remove soap scum from showers and sinks by using oil and white vinegar on a clean cloth.
Smear oil around your sink with a clean cloth to prevent watermarks and make it sparkle.
