Dearest Bees Knees clients!

I’m writing with bad news I’m sorry.

As of today, Sunday the 3rd of October, I’ll be closing Bees Knees at least until the New Year.

This business has been fantastic, and all of you have made it such a wonderful experience for me, but Covid has taken a serious toll on how I operate - especially with trying to add staff to the team amidst the chaos. The lockdowns have taken a huge mental and financial toll on me and I can’t see continuing at the moment as being feasible.

This hasn’t been an easy decision, but I want to make sure I can provide the best service I can to the fullest of my ability.

Once the New Year has begun and there’s more stability in the world I’ll reassess everything and go from there. I absolutely understand that some of you will find other cleaners, but I’ll touch base again in 2022.

Unfortunately Bianca is out of action this week with a persistent back injury, so all of her appointments for at least Monday and Tuesday will need to be cancelled.

Sincerest apologies to the clients this will affect. 🙏🏼

Regional Victoria is out of lockdown, but to be completely transparent - I’m bloody exhausted.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our clients! Lockdown hasn't been fun or easy but I'm super appreciative of everyone's patience and understanding over the last few weeks. 🐝

I thought I’d test out my new mini carpet cleaner on my car mats.

I’ve got a bit of a confession - a friend spilt half a bottle of soy sauce on my front seat that dripped over 2 mats nearly 2 years ago, and I’ve finally gotten around to cleaning it. This was what I got out of 1.5 of those 2 mats 😱 next up will be my actual car seats.

I used a dilution of 1:10 of Earth Choice laundry liquid, wet the mats and gave them a quick scrub with a stiff bristle brush, then used my Bissell carpet cleaner to extract all of this! Soooo satisfying! 💫

With the addition of new staff, our books will be opening to take on new clients again! 🐝

Those on the waitlist will be contacted in the coming weeks and will of course be first booked in. We will also continue only doing homes and offices in the community - no holiday accomodation.

Tag your mum, dad, best friend's grandma, whoever! Everyone deserves a clean house to come home to. 💫

BEES KNEES IS HIRING!

I’m looking for an absolute gun of a cleaner (or two) with good attention to detail and drive, and the ability to work on their own.

Bees Knees Cleaning is a local and indigenous owned business, focussing on solely on private home cleaning using eco-friendly products and methods. No harsh chemicals or perfumes are used.

Ideally I’m looking for 2 amazing permanent staff members that would be looking for part-time roles, but I’m open to 1 full-time staff member. No casual roles available, unless you’re specifically looking for that extra coin at the end of the week, but pay is above award rates! I want the reassurance that I have staff I can rely on, while also giving them job security. You’ll need your own car as our clients are between Buffalo River and Harrietville, but everything else will be provided. You can listen to music or your favourite podcast while working, and all of our cleans can be done during school hours (if needed). There’s also NO BEDS, and NO WEEKENDS.

Training will be provided to ensure my high standards are maintained, so if you’ve got no experience I’m happy to accomodate you.

Cleaning isn’t glamorous, but working directly with lovely clients (and their pets) that have beautiful homes definitely makes the job easier. I’ve established some fantastic connections within our community and have learnt so much just from interacting with my clients.
