Due to the upcoming cyclone, we will be closed Thursday and Friday this week. Hopefully, we can reopen on Saturday morning.
Tips for your pool before and after the storm:
1. Try to shock the pool now and straight after the storm.
2. If you have a pool cover and roller, take it off the pool, roll it up, and tie it up. Either tie down the roller, put it in the garage, or somewhere safe. If this is not possible, throw the tied-up cover and roller into the pool itself.
3. If you can, drain the pool down to 1/4 above the bottom of the skimmer. This will give you some rain space.
4. Turn your system off during the worst of the storm, just in case of local flooding around the pump. If your pump pack is on the canal edge and is prone to high tides, turn the valves off and remove the pump.
5. Come in for a water test as soon as it is safe to do so.
Above all, stay safe!
Ps. We have 4 pallets of salt, 2 pallets if magnesium, pallets of acid, 2000+ litres of liquid chlorine. And plenty of algaecide. With more coming next week.
