A lot more goes into the prep before PPF installation. Many think you just slap the piece of material on the car and squeegee.. if only!😅

Weeding is a process of removing excess film from a ppf sheet that was cut using software and a machine plotter. The remaining ppf on the sheet is the precut patterns ready for installing on a car.

🧐 Post PPF Check Up 🧐

Once a car has had ppf installed, its important to book in a post ppf check up / inspection.

Why?
To see how film has settled in. To also check if any minor adjustments or areas of attention are rectified for example, edges or bubbles etc.

If you cant make the time to book this with your installer, that can potentially be the difference between something that needed attention becoming an issue down the track which could of been avoided and rectified when advised which can complicate things.

The inspection is complimentary which means its our time given to you for free, dont make the mistake of not making an effort and coming in.

PPF Bonding 🤗

Is PPF strong enough to stay bonded to the car after many years?

This PPF has been on the porsche for 8 years and has been the most challenging ive come across to remove that ive had to change my preferred method.

In this reels content, i used boiling hot water only for it to "look" like its coming off easily.

Before this, i could barely get a few cms lifting without also falling over and fingers turning into pieces too!

The test was fun..🥴

This cars due to replace ppf only because after so long the dirt build up around edges has overtime caused very small lifting.. as for the rest of the car - it was ridiculously bonded.

Alot of factors are to be taken into account, install, film quality is a big one and post ppf care from the customer is a massive one.

Look after your cars ppf and it will keep your car looking brand new and be perfect for resell time.
