Not all paint correction is created equal.

This Crusader caravan came in with years of oxidation and surface contamination on its gel coat finish. Gel coat is a fundamentally different surface to automotive clear coat, it’s thicker, more porous and reacts differently under a machine polisher. Get the pad selection, compound or pressure wrong and you can burn straight through it. We take our time, work in sections and check depth constantly.

Once the correction was done and the surface was refined, we reached for Gtechniq C1 Crystal Serum rather than our standard automotive coatings. C1 is a quartz-based ceramic coating specifically formulated for surfaces like gel coat, fibreglass and non-automotive paint. Where our CSL and CSU coatings are engineered for clear coat chemistry, C1 bonds to the silica-rich structure of gel coat and delivers the same long-term UV protection, hydrophobic performance and chemical resistance, but in a way that’s actually compatible with the surface underneath.

This one wasn’t your average detail.

Full paint correction + ceramic coating on a custom-built Honda S2000, and when we say custom, we mean it.

Fibreglass widebody kit, full race build, and a finish that had to match the attitude of the car.

The fibreglass construction meant no paint depth readings, so we leaned on experience and eye to guide the correction process before laying down C1 Crystal Lacquer + EXO for that deep, glassy protection.

The custom rims also got our ceramic protection treatment to keep dust and grime off for years to come!
