TIPPING MONEY NEEDS TO BE PAID IN FULL BY ROUND 10…. OR YOU MAY FIND YOURSELF LOCKED OUT!!

All tips need to be entered via the app 5 minutes before kickoff of every game for each round. You can change your tips for any game, at any time, up to 5 minutes before kickoff. To avoid any disputes, please don’t phone or text them through!

Download the free “ iTipFooty” iPhone, Android or Windows app and enter your tips on the go – or on your PC and Mac… It is SUPER EASY….

Winner takes home - 60% OF TOTAL POOL
2nd Place takes home - 30% OF TOTAL POOL
3rd Place takes home - 10% OF THE TOTAL POOL

If there is a tie for first, then we combine first and second prize money and divide evenly between the winners, and so on.

Extra Prizes:

Wooden Spoon Award – if you’ve tried hard all year, never missed getting your tips in on time, and still come last…….. win a trophy and your $50.00 entry fee back, as well as your name immortalized on our plaque in the office for all to see – for eternity.

POINTS:
1 point for each correct winner picked.

Pick the card (pick every correct winner for that round) and get 1 point for each game plus - bonus 2 points for the round (including bye rounds.)

If you miss getting tips in, you will be given the lowest score for that round.

New and late entries are welcome – You will receive the lowest round score for each round you have missed.

In the event of a draw it will be treated as a correct tip for all tipsters.

For 2026 we are including Finals as well as a "Joker Round"

In a Joker round, each tipster can select 1 round(s) during the season to be their Joker round, where their total score for that round is doubled. Joker round selection cannot be changed once the first game of the round has locked out.

Perfect Round Bonus
Any perfect round bonus points received will also be doubled as part of the Joker round. Please refer to the perfect round bonus settings for more details.

Exclusions
Joker points do not apply to State of Origin or Finals matches.

Exceeding Normal Round Games
Only the standard number of games for the competition will be eligible for Joker scoring. For example, if 11 games are played in an EPL round due to a rescheduled game, the Joker will only apply to the first 10 games (as 10 is the standard round total for the EPL).

Joker in Bye Rounds
The Joker can be used in bye rounds, where fewer games are played than usual. For example, if tipsters use the Joker during an NRL bye round with only 4 games, the Joker will only apply to those 4 games (not the full 8 games that would be played in a normal NRL round).

Postponed, Cancelled, or Changed Games
If a game is postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled at short notice during a tipster’s Joker round, reducing the number of games, the comp manager may choose to reset the Joker round for that tipster at their discretion.

Family owned, Beaudesert based Group of Companies is looking for an office all rounder / receptionist.

Our busy office is the base for a variety of different entities and trades, including but not limited to:

Liquid Waste Collection, Cartage and Disposal
Portable Toilet hire / servicing
Building and Construction
We require someone with the following attributes:

Efficient
Quick Learner
Well spoken
Reliable
Organised
Great Attention to detail
Excellent spelling and grammar
Previous use of MYOB software (AccountRight Live) is essential.
Experience with Office 365 Suite - especially Excel, Word and Outlook, along with a basic understanding of Windows.

Initially, approx 25 - 30 hours per week, Mon - Fri - with the possibility full time work in the future, for the right applicant.

Your main role will be standard day to day office duties - invoicing (using MYOB) data entry, answering phones - quoting, replying to emails, attending to walk in customers - generally with portable toilet hire and reporting to senior members of the office.

About the business and the role:

Beaudesert based group of companies, involved in all aspects of liquid waste removal and transport, hydro-excavation, portable toilet hire and servicing, plant and machinery hire and construction.
Our area of work takes us from Caboolture to the Tweed and West to Gatton with most of our work within the Greater Brisbane and surrounding suburbs, Gold Coast and the Scenic Rim.
Our base is in Beaudesert – so the day starts and ends from there.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

We currently have openings for 1 position.

Initially the position will be on a casual basis during a period of trial, with a minimum of 38 hours per week - and will lead to full time work for the right applicants.

Duties may include any of the following:

Operation of Liquid Waste Vacuum Tankers of various sizes for pumping domestic septic tanks, sullage and grease traps, home sewerage treatment plants - and completing portable toilet servicing runs. (pumping and cleaning portable toilets on site, and at events)
Pumping commercial holding tanks and grease traps.
Deliver, collect and service portable toilets – for building sites, parties and events.

Skills and experience required:

Current MR and/or HR ( Qld driving licence.) with minimum 2 years driving experience.
General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) - Blue or White Card - This is mandatory.
Forklift experience would be an advantage
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Basic email and smart phone knowledge (there is quite a bit of Smart Phone App usage for various things)
Physical fitness to be able to complete the required tasks in all weather conditions
Produce a personal traffic history report for the past 5 years - From Transport and Main Roads.

NRL Footy Tipping Comp for 2024......


We lost a few along the way due to Non-Payment…. But the prize pool was still pretty good!

Because we don't include finals - I can reveal the results.

1st place – MIGHTLY SEA EAGLE........ takes home a total of $2490.00

2nd place – LITTLE RUSS..... takes home a total of $1245.00

3rd Place – was a tie for 3rd………. NUGGET 54 & OLD BOY BRONCO……….each take home $207.50.



Our extra fun prize of $100 goes to FRONT ROWER - this prize is randomly picked using a random number picking phone app. It is for everyone who never ever missed submitting their tips for every game, in every round, all season. It is supposed to encourage you all to keep going even if you are not winning.........

I guess some of you didn't get the memo?.............. (FUN FACT – OUT OF 86 OF YOU….. ONLY 38 PEOPLE NEVER EVER MISSED PUTTING THEIR TIPS IN)
