Everyone knows I have a slightly unhealthy obsession with cleaning drains... and the dirtier they are, the better! 😂

Fortunately, I've got the nose of a hound dog and can usually tell when a drain is crying out for some attention. So, if I can safely access it, chances are it's getting cleaned as part of your Whistling Gums detail clean.

This is exactly why not all cleans are created equal. 💚🌿

To the untrained eye, this shower looked clean, tidy and well maintained.

But to a trained eye? Every section of grout was hiding mould that had been missed time and time again.

This is why Whistling Gums Cleaning Co. doesn't believe in "spray and wipe" cleaning. We believe in getting into the little details that many people don't even know to look for.

Good morning from Whistling Gums Cleaning Co. 💚🌿

It's been a bit of an emotional week here, so I've been a little quiet. I just haven't had the mental capacity to be posting, but I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things.

I'm back now, and I have so many photos to share! From some incredibly satisfying (and very gross! 🤢) drain cleans to a shower with mould hiding in places only a trained eye would spot. Plus, there are plenty of before and afters that I'm really excited to show you.

I truly have the most beautiful clients. 💚

After hearing that our beautiful boy, Jed, was being put to sleep today, I walked out to my car after finishing my clean and found a gorgeous bunch of flowers waiting for me on the bonnet.

Such a simple but incredibly thoughtful gesture that brought a smile to my face during one of the hardest days. It reminded me that there really are some truly wonderful people in this world.

Today's oven was probably the second worst I've ever tackled... but wow, what a transformation! 😍

It came up looking like one of the best ovens I've cleaned. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing years of built-up grease disappear and bringing an oven back to life.

Following yesterday's service swap, I just wanted to share a few more before-and-after photos.

This home belonged to a busy family, and like so many of us, life simply gets in the way. Yesterday it was my turn to give something back.

Today it was my turn in our monthly local business service swap. 💚

After Shineline Detailing put the call out looking for a cleaner in exchange for a vehicle detail, I was lucky enough to be chosen and I was determined not to let them down.
