Very commonly we see Possums tampering with downlights, as seen here! If this is happening at your house, you need to call us asap. Electricial damage like this can become a big problem if left too long.

We often get asked about possum boxes. We saw this and thought what a wonderful idea. If you're a little handy and crafty you might want to consider making?

Possum drey for Ringtails Made from two hanging baskets secured together face to face with cable ties and with a hole the size of a tennis ball cut for the entry. Filled with Tea tree bark and camouflaged similary on the outside. Quick, inexpen*sve and easy to make...though always would prefer hollow logs...trouble is where to find them? The hardest bit is getting them up in the right spots - NEED - interconnecting trees with dense foliage, in sheltered places as high as possible off the ground. Do hope its not going to end up a snake restuarant tho!

Ever wonder how our unique one way doors work? Possums leave without harm or stress. We bait our one way doors with apple so this fellow gets a treat on his way out.

QUESTION: Do possums leave their young behind? What if their babies are left behind in the roof?

ANSWER: No, possums carry their young with them at all times. They do not leave their young behind like a bird does. Possums carry their babies in their pouches and when bigger on their backs, much like furry barnacle 😅
