Over the last year and a half I’ve worked extremely hard to get this company where it is today. Far from perfect, and far from where I could have gotten it to
As most of you would know, I had an accident a little over a year ago that landed me in hospital & intense rehab for a little over 4 months. Last year in late August I started detailing again.
Since then we have started a new branch of the company (Speedys Mowing & Maintenance) and have done our best to continually provide competitive pricing, as well as friendly and quality service.
However, due to the nature of my accident and how serious my injuries were, over the last year they have been affecting me more and more.
Over the last 2 months, I have been trying my absolute best to arrange bookings in the best way possible so that my body can recover and I can still be at my best performance to ensure the best work for my customers. However I have noticed it has been slipping.
For this reason, as well as the physical stress I have been placing on my body, I will be taking a break for the next quarter (3-4 months)
I have locked in a job with NAB that is a hybrid WFH role which should hopefully improve the way my body has been feeling lately and take the physical stress I’ve put on my body.
After the long break, I will return to servicing regular customers over the weekends, more so as a hobby (how my business first started)
Obviously I write this all with a very heavy heart. This company is my pride and joy.
However, all good things must come to an end, and I vision this next journey I take as one that will bring me more experience with life. This time working for myself, helping all the lovely people of ballarat has brought me so much joy.
I thank each and every one of my loyal customers who has stuck by my side through day one and my accident. Thank you for coming along for this journey with me.
