Today Aaron brought his Vt Holden Commodore back for a transmission service and to diagnose a misfire issue,

Upon inspection it was found that 1 of the coil posts had alot of corrosion around it,
We also replaced the plugs due to their condition and a set of new leads after finding a damaged ignition lead

This VY V6 Commodore had an over heating issue upon inspection of the cooling system a leak from the water pump was found after performing a pressure test with further inspection as per condition of the water pump having visible signs that this engine has not had appropriate coolant used in the system for some time

Coolant also aids in corrosion prevention within the cooling system components which helps minimise premature failure of engine parts

The cooling system recieved a coolant flush procedure with a new water pump - thermostat and radiator cap

We had Gordon's Au1 Ford Falcon in for some love yesterday it arrived running in a very poor condition and under power as youd imagine after the amount of Carbon Tracking seen on the ceramic posts of the spark plugs but shes running smooth now and will be returning at a later date to have the fuel pump assembly replaced due to a fuel pressure issue 🔧

The mighty au received;

An engine oil flush,
Engine Oil - Penrite HPR 30,
Oil filter,
Air filter,
Fuel filter,
NGK spark plugs,
Inlet manifold gasket,
Replacement intake pipe,

A blast from the past 😍 here's a 416ci stroker LS I built for Grahams WM Grange about 18 months ago, It made around 500rwkw on the rollers with a Harrop 2300 FDFI Supercharger bolted down ontop Graham later returned and I installed a Forced Induction Interchiller Setup with an upgraded 12L reservoir, It's definitely an absolute killer fun car to drive and one very happy customer still smiling each time he drives it to this day
