At Maid to Sparkle, communication and respect are two things we take very seriously.

As a team, there is no gap between owners, admin, and our cleaning staff. All client communication is shared and discussed internally to ensure clarity, consistency, and the highest standard of service. When you speak to one of us, you are speaking to the business as a whole.

🍋 Let’s talk citric acid (aka a quiet cleaning hero)
If you’re wanting a cleaner that actually works without that harsh chemical smell, citric acid is a favourite of ours.

It’s natural, powerful on buildup, and much kinder on your chest and lungs. We use it a lot for descaling and bringing the sparkle back.

What it’s great for:

• Limescale on taps & shower screens
• Soap scum
• Sink & shower buildup
• Stainless steel
• Kettles and coffee machines

It works by breaking down minerals instead of just covering them up. Real clean, not fake clean 😉

🧴 How to make it up (super simple):
• 1 tablespoon citric acid powder
• 1 cup warm water
• Spray bottle
Shake until dissolved and you’re good to go.

✨ For heavier buildup, use 2 tablespoons per cup.

🧽 How to use it:
• Taps & shower glass: Spray, leave 5–10 mins, wipe with a microfiber

• Kettles/coffee machines: Add to warm water, soak or run through (rinse well after)

• Sinks & drains: Sprinkle powder, add hot water, let it fizz

• Toilets: Sprinkle around the bowl, leave 10–15 mins, brush & flush

Always rinse surfaces well after use.

⚠️ Quick but important notes: • Don’t use on natural stone (marble, granite, etc.)
• Patch test if unsure
• Never mix with bleach
