First Marathon in a Vegan Runner Vest!!!

Today holds significant running memories for me. 19 years ago I placed 5th overall in the highly prestigious and competitive Florence Marathon. It was my first race in a Vegan Runner vest - I was so excited to run for the animals and visibly showcase the lifestyle I am so passionate about sharing with others. To carry the black and green of peace and love to a podium place was more than I could have ever dreamed of aspiring to.

Next year is the 20th Anniversary of Vegan Runners.

Many ask what is my proudest achievement within my running career and I have always said it's being there since its inception in 2004.

Thanks so much to the wonderful Peter Simpson for doing all the hours of paperwork affiliating a running club requires and his amazing and tireless work ever since.

I had the easy bit, I just had to run. Who would have thought such an innocent idea of forming a running club to promote veganism would have grown into a global entity doing so much work positively, proactively and peacefully helping countless people on so many levels, share the message of love for animals and promote a vegan lifestyle in all its wonderful glory.

Yes! Our products are proudly manufactured in Sydney, Australia.

Greenline Australia is part of a global company, Greenline Global which has been creating these amazing products for 10 years. As we are a new company in Australia we have started with receiving part of the product which we use in our production from our global company and then we mix and package it here. Once we grow we will begin producing from scratch in Australia for Australia and Asia Pacific.

We see this as the best way to get rid of toxins everywhere in the world. Our goal is to have licensees in every country working together to clean up all industries.

Why does it matter what cleaning products I use?

Most products you’ll find on the shelves in your local stores will include chlorine, bleach and synthetic fragrances not to mention a never ending list of ingredients we can’t even pronounce.

Just because a product smells nice or 'clean' doesn’t mean it is the best option for your company.

Fragrances can cause respiratory issues if inhaled regularly

Bleach is extremely corrosive, which can irritate or burn your skin or eyes.

Chlorine can enter the body as a result of breathing or skin contact which reacts with water to produce acids. The acids are corrosive and damage cells in the body on contact.
