Last Friday night was one of the easiest loads I've had for some time! Close to town, quiet roos, good company and all wrapped up just after midnight. Some big boys pushed the average weight up to finish with 35 for 1195kg.
I was back out again last night hopeful for a similar result. It wasn't to be though, it was hard work! No roos off the first property, bogged twice on the second and locked out of the third. After a horrible start properties 4 and 5 started producing some good roos, before I decided a couple hours sleep before work was more important than pushing on to the 6th and final property I had lined up.
Considering the bad start I was happy to finish up with 27 for 801kg on the ute. As always, if you have roos (or any other pests) that need sorting out don't hesitate to get in touch πͺ.
