Since 2015 I have been a Pool Safety fencing Inspector in the Whitsundays and for me to help preventing drowning in backyard pools for whitsunday children under the age of 5 is another layer how to safe a child’s life.
Since pool safety fencing is in place we have improved 20% less drowning in backyard pools the past 10 years.
Remember a fenced pool is a barrier, but barrier’s can be climbable, it gives you just enough time to allocate your child.
Reminder:Drowning happens silently
Pool Barriers are the responsibility to anyone who has a pool, including those people who have no children.
Learning to swim is a lifesaving skill and a skill for life, which can prevent drowning but nothing is drown proof! We only can be safer !
