nd Sailing clubs. Nearby Port Noarlunga with its many cafes, restaurants and historic jetty is only a few minutes drive, or for those looking to stay fit, a very pleasant 15-20 minute walk along the coastline. A special feature is the upstairs balcony with ocean views and remote-controlled blinds to take the heat out of the late afternoon sun while you relax and enjoy pre-dinner drinks and nibbles or look after the steaks on the gas barbecue.

We recently stayed at Sally’s property for 5 nights when visiting family who live nearby to prepare for our daughter’s wedding. This home is lovely and very spacious and perfect for large families, a couple of families sharing, or situations where someone needs to be in relative isolation from the rest of the family while waiting for Covid testing results etc. There were only two of us and we mostly used the upstairs, and washing machine in downstairs laundry. The home is also pet friendly which is a bonus. The-back garden is small but well fenced, and the beach is dog friendly. Sally is a friendly, helpful host who met us at the house to give us the keys and a quick run through of what was where. She lives nearby and communicated very promptly. We loved the comfortable mattress and bedding (not too heavy and not too light) in the master bedroom and slept really well. We loved the walk-in master wardrobe and the luggage stands for two large cases. The master ensuite, downstairs bathroom and two additional separate toilet and basin areas were well stocked with lots of hotel type toiletries which was a thoughtful touch. We loved the closeness to the beach and enjoyed some beautiful sunset views over the ocean from the upstairs living areas and the spacious covered outdoor entertaining area. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, including an oven, separate stove top, microwave, coffee maker (we didn’t use it), dishwasher, large fridge and pantry so it was easy to self cater. (Coles, Woolworths & IGA are only a couple of minutes away by car.) The air conditioning was very effective for cooling and heating. TV, wifi & entertainment equipment is provided, but we didn’t use it so can’t comment. We wholeheartedly recommend Sally’s property. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay and would love to stay there again.
