At last, we can report some progress on our SAR 250 class bluebird kits.

After 12 months of development, we are proud to announce our next kit.

The SAR/ANR 250 class diesel hydraulic railcar.

The most accurate Bluebird kit produced in HO scale to date!

This multi-media kit will feature:

 One-piece polyurethane body, with removable pilots, steps and vestibule walls to allow for detailing of vestibules.
 Underfloor and interior detail
 Brass etched radiator grilles
 Fully-detailed white metal bogie side frames
 Lost-wax air horns, air compressor and air conditioning condenser units
 Decals and full instructions

The purchaser will require an Athearn ‘Blue Box’ EMD SW1200/1500 chassis to provide chassis components for this kit.

Our 520 class sound file is now available - $60 for the upload to your loco - sorry, no install services available.

These sounds are designed for the ESU LokSound 4.0 Decoder (Sorry, no LokSound Select files available just yet).

On top of all of the wonderful LokSound functionality and built-in sounds, our sound file includes:
- Prototypical Westinghouse Single Stage Air Compressor (A cross-compound air compressor for the second and third version 520's is in development)
- Prototypical 520 class whistle
- Prototypical Pyle-National turbo generator

PM us to book in your loco for its upgrade!

Of course, our files will continue to be developed, and as new versions are released (including Full Throttle Steam functionality), these will be available to be uploaded to your loco's at a greatly reduced rate.

Our brass SAR "Cheese k**b" point levers (non-working scenic items) are now in stock, and will be available very shortly.

Each pack will contain 6 brass (lost-wax castings) levers and will retail for $15 (plus p&h).
