Hello again — or maybe hello for the first time.

I’m Cheryle with an E.
A Great Grammy, a conscious shopper, a Web3 realist, and someone who knows what it means to rebuild — again and again.

I’ve seen recessions, redundancies, reinventions and revolutions.
I’ve also seen women left behind in systems that were never built for them — and men who quietly broke under the weight of not knowing what came next.

That’s why I’m here now.

Not selling hype.
Not preaching perfection.
Just telling the truth — with music in my blood, blockchain on my radar, and a fierce love for legacy.

This is Conscious Shopper Ξ —
Where we talk about money, meaning, and multiple income streams...
With no fluff.
No fancy filters.
Just facts, fire, and a whole lot of soul.

So if you're ready for:

Financial tools in plain language

Stories that sound like your life

And a community that still believes in truth over trends…

You’re in the right place.

Let’s build something that outlives the hype.

Still got the wheel.
– Cheryle with an E 🛻💛

Love this 🍎 🍏

In Norway, when people see that there is an excess of apples on their trees, they do this kind of action so others can pick them and consume them instead of rotting on the ground. Beautiful 👏👏

Everyone thank you so much for taking the time to vote for me. I really appreciate your support.

It's a weird thing asking people to vote for you. It's not like I'm up for running the country...but being nominated for this award reminded me that I've had an impact on people's lives. It's a wonderful feeling knowing I've used my skills for good.

The funny thing is I don't feel I'm a competitive person. But being nominated by my peer Hannah has stirred something in me that goes back to being a kid, standing on the sidelines as everyone else was picked first for the softball team. I want to win. Winning feels good and who doesn't want to feel good?

If you haven't voted, I'd love it if you would. It only takes 30 seconds. Select my name, click the vote box, enter your name, enter your email. Done.

Here's the link ....voting closes Monday 22nd August. If you have multiple email addresses you can vote more. Please share this link... we can do it!

Tomorrow morning form 9am AEST Im walking virtually around the country hearing how growing food, urban farming and gardening has been playing out in different communities. Starting down south we will set off from Hobart where we catch up with Hannah Maloney from . Goodlife Permaculture. Then It is across to Melbourne to chat with Dr Nick Rose Sustain: The Australian Food Network as well as Pooja Mallya from The Melbourne Food.

Heading north we catch up with Clarence Slockee who will share his work in indigenous edible landscapes. In Sydney we catch up with Bridget to hear about Sydney Edible Garden Trail and its reach and engagement during the lockdown, then in Brisbane Carissa from Northey Street City Farm and Susanna Engelhard form Samford Edible Garden Trail. Its then up to Cairns and Amy from Manoora Community Garden and across to Alice where we meet up with Em and the Sunday working bee at Alice Springs Community Garden. Up in Darwin Naomi form Community Gardens Australia and In Perth John McBain from WA Community Gardens Network . Then it is over to Steve in Adelaide at Wagtail Urban Farm to round us out.

Its a great way to do a bit of an edible garden talk and tour and recognise and celebrate the importance of Urban agriculture, hear how people are engaged with it and what the current period of lockdown has meant to peoples connection to their food and where it comes from. The survey below is a way that everyone can help raise awareness about our food systems and their shape and resilience moving forward and we will hear about the survey and its goals along the way tomorrow. I filled it out today and it didn't take long.

Bee Keepers, Dairymen and women, pig farmers are farmers in general are suffering, when is enough wealth enough, when then does it become greed! Be concsious and concerned where you are spending your money... Communities are suffering ....

Bega LTD, the second largest shareholder in Capilano LTD, has announced it will sell out and support a take over by a China focused consortium of private investors.

The consortium of Wattle Hill and ROC Capital, called “Bravo BidCo” are reported to be crafting a deal that will see them receive 100 per cent of Capilano shares valued at approximately 198.6 million.

It was speculated that Bega were intent on buying Capilano Ltd six months ago but have possibly become wary of connecting themselves with Capilano Ltd after the Fairfax Media expose…

Shrewd Chinese businessman Mr Albert Tse, who has links to the Australian Labor party, will be delighted. Mr Tse fled to Australia in 2014 to escape the pollution in Beijing. https://www.afr.com/business/jessica-rudd-and-albert-tse-start-an-accidental-work-partnership-20170107-gtnneh Consortium player Wattle Hill RCH was founded by Mr Tse (husband of former prime minister Kevin Rudd’s daughter Jessica Rudd) to capitalise on the insatiable demand by China’s middle class for clean and safe products made in Australia and New Zealand. In effect this means pristine Australian honey will go direct to China while at the same time Capilano Ltd will continue to import Chinese honey to sell to Australians…

Australian beekeepers are furious that the limited apiary sites which have been bought up by Capilano Ltd will now potentially be owned by the Asian consortium.

Local beekeeper Ben Moore from Ben's Bees said “I would like to think the future of beekeeping in Australia is not in a corporation owning 1,000,000 hives, rather thousands of smaller family owned apiaries doing well out of honey and contributing to pollination”

"Ben urges people to buy honey from their local beekeeper direct.

“When you buy honey from a local beekeeper you are helping a little girl get dancing lessons and not an investment banker a third holiday house”

Please support your local beekeeper on the honeymap.

A makeup range has been recalled after lead was detected.

Such a very, very sad day. Where we shop and where we spend our money is where our future.

Dick Smith Foods closing up production as not enough consumers are supporting his Australian products, Australian made and owned products.
We can’t leave it up to the large supermarkets. When the consumer finally realises that they are voting with their dollar and if they just STOP buying the imported lines, ONLY THEN will it be realised and they will stop bringing them in.
Australian Government do not do us any favours. Cost of living is higher and the minimum wage is just that...... MINIMUM. Taxes are higher, money squandered on plebiscites that we already know the answer to, MP’s giving themselves a raise, the result is people buying cheaper, poorer quality foods just to get by and not supporting local.

We can make a difference in so many ways, we can make better choices in so many ways, repair cafes are popping up everywhere now, a great option which use to be common!

Before you throw away that broken toaster, consider stopping by your local repair cafe.
