4th Generation Chimney Sweep

Ensure you have your wood heater inspected and cleaned by a professional chimney sweep. We were called in to look at this heater as it was smoking the house out. It had been serviced by a home handyman 3 days prior and the client had been told everything was good!
The photos clearly show the upper chamber is cracked, the back of the fire box has split apart and the fl**ge and flue have burnt out!
As this posed an extreme fire hazard we advised the client not to use the heater under ANY circumstances!!

Scraped and swept 3 double storey open fireplaces at the German Arms Hotel in Hahndorf. Inspection report given to owner. Owner authorised us to undertake repairs to brickwork.
Safety inspection carried out on freestanding carousel wood heater considered to be an extreme fire hazard. Organised repairs to conform to Australian Standards.

Wilson the pug helping us replace a perished door seal... he really wanted that wood heater back up and running!!
We also found hibernating ladybirds in the same wood heater flue!

We came across this Coonara inbuilt installed into a Jetmaster insert with a starter flue!

We scraped and swept the chimney stack after a chimney fire and re-installed the wood heater with a new door seal. The owner stated the next day that the heater is working '100% better'.
