Washionic Laundry – COVID-19 (Customer & Employee Health & Safety Circular)
We have noticed that most of our customers are concerned over acquiring laundry services in the current Pandemic (COVID-19) and are questioning whether it is safe to have their Laundry, Bedding, Linen & Home Living items processed by professionals
We want to assure you that, it is our top priority to protect & safeguard the Health & Safety of both, our Customers & our Employees. We are taking all necessary precautions by following all the COVID-19 related guidelines to make sure that your laundry is safe for use when processed with us

For your safety & satisfaction we are sharing few facts on our laundry process and the current precautionary steps being taken to ensure that our Customers and Employees are safe in this Global Pandemic COVID-19
A- Laundry Processing (Clean & Press)
- We are having your laundry, towels, linens, curtains, carpets and door mats cleaned with disinfectants, top-quality and eco-friendly detergent (soap)
- We have your laundry washed at high temperature which disinfects and is effective in killing the bacteria, flu, germs and viruses, the cleaning process by default is designed to kill bacteria, flu, germs & viruses.
- We hard press & Steam Press cloths at very high temp between 150–180° which is much more than the required temperature to kill all bacteria and viruses

B- Prevention the spread of Disease (Customers & Employees)
- All our Employees wear masks and gloves, both, within the facility and on field (while pick up & delivery) to customers, this is to safeguard the health and safety of our Customers as well as our Employees
- Our Employees are strictly advised to wash hands in regular intervals even after having used the gloves throughout the processing
- Our facility is equipped with CDC standard hand sanitizers (over 70% alcohol content) for use by the staff
- General areas such as switches, switchboards & doorknobs are disinfected at regular intervals - We strictly monitor hygiene measures
- All Employees have their temperature and general health visually checked daily to ensure they are healthy and do not contain signs of any infection or disease
- All Employees are strictly advised to ensure maintaining social distance between themselves
- All delivery persons and delivery vehicles are equipped with masks, CDC standard hand sanitizers (over 70% alcohol content) & gloves for use while on field
- All Employees are asked to dispose the gloves at regular intervals to maintain hygiene
- External customers, visitors & non-essential people are not allowed to enter the facility
- All our Employees are strictly asked to restrict their interaction and only report to work, do field jobs and restrict themselves within Company facility and accommodation to avoid social interaction
- Customers are expected to understand and co-operate with us in this situation to take the proper precaution to keep eachother safe
B- Post Processing & Logistics
- We offer at door service which means no contact between customers and our delivery staff
- Instead of daily pick up and delivery service, siting the current situation we have revised our Pickup and Delivery timings for the time being to be between 1400 to 1900 Hrs every Saturday, Monday, Wednesday & Thursday (To restrict the movement of our Employees)
- To maintain our customers as well as our Employee Safety, we request you to follow below guidelines:
Pick Ups – Please leave their Laundry at the door just before the arrival of delivery person (We will send you a message once the person is in your building)
Deliveries – We will leave your Laundry at door while delivery, delivery person will ring the bell and leave, we will send the picture of laundry delivered at door for all deliveries made
Payment – We will collect the payments from our valuable customers only on monthly or maximum of bi-monthly basis to avoid personal interaction between Customer and our Employees. We prefer contactless credit card payment or exact cash to avoid exchange of currency notes. Alternatively, Customers can use the online payment transfer to our bank account (Online payment through mobile apps coming soon)
Personal Interaction – We encourage all our customers to consider keeping a safe distance while dealing with our Employees if at all any interaction is required between the customer & delivery persons, however, we strongly request you to restrict all your queries to Whats app communication with us
Laundry collection from door – Please remove the laundry plastic from cloths and dispose it off immediately and collect only your cloths while taking them inside home
- We will avoid collection of laundry in regular random plastic bags, please use only our Personalized bags for giving the laundry (Your Laundry bag shall be provided by us and same shall be returned with your laundry every time)
We are regularly monitoring all circulars by the Government and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines. As per the media the laundries are open are no harm to humans for current virus spread if handled carefully.
