3 Gen 4 Pajeros. Same problem. Propeller shaft issues. 🔧

Today at DNC Auto Repair, three Gen 4 Pajeros came in with propeller shaft problems, including one customer who drove all the way from Ras Al Khaimah to have it checked by Pajero specialists. 🙏 Thank you for trusting us!

The propeller shaft carries power from the transfer case to the axles. When its joints or bearings wear out, your Pajero will usually tell you:
⚠️ Vibration that gets worse as speed increases
⚠️ A clunk or click when pulling away or shifting between D and R
⚠️ A humming or whining sound from underneath

If you ignore it, the driveline can go out of alignment and start wearing the transfer case seals and the differential. A small repair becomes a big bill.

Look at the cracks along the back of the old one — that's rubber that's been heat-cycled in UAE summers until it's gone hard and brittle. On a petrol V6 the timing belt isn't a "replace it when it breaks" part. When it goes, the engine goes with it.

Pads are the cheap part. Leave them too long and you're buying discs and calipers as well. We check pad thickness, disc condition and fluid together — because replacing one without the others is half a job.

Most drivers never use it properly — and the ones who do often never service it. Transfer case and diff fluids are cheap. Replacing a transfer case is not.
