Think winter cold kills off cockroaches? Think again.
As Pretoria's night temperatures drop into the single digits, cockroaches don't die off, they migrate indoors to the warmest spots in your home to survive. They nest inside kitchen appliances, hiding in the warm motors of fridges, microwaves, dishwashers, and ovens where heat and moisture are plentiful.
