Planet Gutters was founded in January 2014, under the name and style of Planet Gutters. Our name describes our aspirations to play our role in mitigating environmental damage through our seamless aluminium gutters, which are fully recyclable. Our key market segments are industrial markets and domestic markets, We operate mainly in the Eastern region of the Eastern Cape or what was known as the Tra

nskei region, with our base in Mthatha. We believe in forming sound relationships with our clients in order to establish their needs and exceed their expectations. We believe that the future of guttering is seamless and thus are prepared to play our role in making this form of guttering to be mainstream.

The current water crisis facing the residents of most of the East London suburbs should spur more thoughts about the importance of household water security in general and rainwater harvesting in particular. There are a lot of misconceptions about rainwater harvesting.
Rainwater harvesting involves the collection; filtering; storage and eventual distribution of rainwater into the household water systems.

Rainwater is free and can be used for washing; flushing of toilets, irrigation as well as in emergency situations such as ones currently faced by residents of East London and any other Area for that matter. Most of us grew up in rural areas were rainwater constituted and still constitute a major source of water.

To get going with rainwater haversting you will need the following components
1. Water Tank
2. Water Pump
3. Water filters
4. Plumbing systems
Current PVC gutters will have to be changed to seamless aluminium guttering for a more durable and sustainable system
