Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore. The successful applicant will report to the Plant Manager or nominee.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Degree/National Diploma in Logistics Management/Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering.
Code 08 (EB) Driver’s Licence.
Advantageous: Project Management.
EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):
3-5 extensive practical logistical management experience.
2 years metallurgical experience.
DUTIES (including but not limited to):
„h Coordinate and control outbound production logistics between Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine and Client. „h Assist with compilation of annual budget taking. Monitor spending and allocate expenses to appropriate cost account. Review invoices received and submit correct invoices for processing. Understanding of cost dynamics affecting global chrome operations. Understanding of freight in respect of international sea-borne chrome sales. Knowledge of chrome demand and customer representatives. „h Reconciliation of production and stock trends. Manage Transnet guarantee and sales plan. Plan and coordinate port and Steelpoort stock.S
„h Forecast Reporting and liaison with external stakeholders.
„h Manage weighing and loading of rail and road transport. Manage Steelpoort Station. Conduct customer supply trend analysis. Manage and conduct risk assessments.
„h Participate in internal and external audits.
„h Manage housekeeping standards.
