As someone who has suffered for years in silence with executive dysfunction from ADD, it great to see my cleaning peers put things like this out that help people like myself with their decluttering. When I’m on a job, I can clean a 3600 sq. ft. house, and dust it from top to bottom, in 8-10 hours. But when it comes to cleaning mine, it’s debilitating because of the “piles” because I just can’t figure out where these items should go. It’s never a cleanliness issue, it’s just a stuff issue. Honestly, people who have executive dysfunction would rather throw it all away and have nothing than deal with the overwhelming sadness of this mental load.

I can clean all day long… but decluttering? That’s where executive dysfunction shows up for me.

Cleaning is physical.
Decluttering is mental. It’s decision after decision, and that can feel overwhelming fast.

For a long time, I’d just shove things in a closet or drawer and call it good. Out of sight, out of mind… until it wasn’t.

What finally worked for me was this: never focus on the whole picture.

Not the whole house.
Not the whole room.
Not even the whole closet.

One drawer. One shelf. One tiny section.

When I shrink it down that small, my brain can handle it. And small wins build momentum.

Jennifer's Cleaning Service is a full service cleaning company that tailors each cleaning to your home's needs.

Cleaning recommendations are based off square footage of an occupied home. Move-in/move-out "Make Ready" cleanings are bid based on scope and square footage. Please call/text for a quote.

If you do not need all rooms cleaned and would like a quote, please mention which rooms are to be left out during the initial process, as I tailor every clean with you in mind. Also, if you do not want all services provided I can give you a quote based off scope, as I do not “require” all services, unlike commercial cleaning companies.

Please note that Jennifer’s Cleaning Service is owner operated and there is no “team”, so to give your home the attention it needs requires me to be there longer than a commercial team. The quote you are given is to complete the scope discussed before the cleaning. The price you are quoted and agree to is our contract price and will not be different than what you pay unless you request anything additionally at the time of your service.

Standard Cleaning:
Clean/Sanitize counter tops, sinks, bathtubs/showers & toilets
Wiping down exterior only of each: refrigerator, dishwasher, oven and small appliances
Clean stove top
Clean microwave (inside and out)
Sweeping/mopping/vacuuming
Clean mirrors as needed
Removing all reachable cobwebs

Deep Cleaning:
Standard cleaning +:
Dusting window sills, wood/plastic/metal furniture, wall art/photos, low-hanging fans/light sconces and wiping/washing the exterior of the kitchen cabinets, and wet dusting all baseboards.

Additional Services (additional time):
Refrigerator (inside) - $40 standard / $60 high capacity
Dusting Blinds: Quote based off amount of windows
Washing (not just dusting) blinds that have sun-baked dust, dirt or settled cigarette smoke: TBD - Separate appointment required for this service and pre-home visit required for accurate quote.

Payments accepted: Cash, Debit/Credit via PayPal ("Friends & Family" option only) or Zelle.
