The first step to enjoying your natural hair is simple —

If you don’t love your natural hair,
you’ll always think it’s too stressful,
you’ll always complain about things that aren’t even serious, baby 😅

Another truth is —
no matter how much you want your natural hair to grow,
you must put in extra effort.

Unlike relaxed hair,
relaxers have already done half of the work for them.

So stop comparing your hair.
Stop comparing your natural hair, baby.
Every hair type is unique in its own way 💚

If your friend is showing her hair shege 😅
and her hair still survives it,
you might try it too — but you’ll regret it o! 🙈

Don’t compare hair to hair,

When you notice lice on your hair or your children’s hair,
the first step is — calm down 😌
Calm down, calm down, calm down!

Because that panic and eagerness to get rid of it
can make you use anything people recommend —
and that’s dangerous o 😩

I know what I’m saying. 🙏🏽

After you calm down, look for a safe solution.

❌ Don’t use Sniper
❌ Don’t use Izal
❌ Don’t use Hypo

Those things are not safe for your scalp or your kids! 🚫

You can go to a big pharmacy,
they usually have safe treatments for lice.

If you have Ibile Hair Products or other natural options,
you can also use those —
we’ve even dropped many DIYs for lice here before. 💚

Neem oil works really well —
apply it overnight and cover your hair before sleeping.

Please don’t harm yourself or your children because of lice, o 😭

And mind you —
having lice doesn’t mean you have natural hair,
and it doesn’t mean you’re dirty either.

Anybody can have lice!

Reply: No shortcut, baby 😌
First of all — stop relaxing it!

Get yourself good natural hair products like Ibile 💚

You’ll need a good shampoo, conditioner, hair cream, leave-in, hair oil, and deep conditioner.

Start moisturizing your hair regularly.
Make deep conditioning your best friend. 💆🏽‍♀️

Once your natural undergrowth starts showing well,
you can trim off the relaxed ends little by little.

But if you can’t go through all that stress —
just cut it off and start afresh, my dear. ✂️

No fear, okay? You’ve got this. 💪🏽
