This woman’s home was struck by lightning back in June, it nearly blew a wall off her home luckily the electricity stopped at a grounding rod in the attic. It cracked lots of bricks and mortar from this fire box and chase, the floor is cracked, and I’m not 100% sure of the gas line condition, the one that’s running through the cracked floor🤔. She has been using her retirement savings to fix things since July. Meanwhile State Farm has been fighting her on everything she’s doing and have yet to settle their debt they owe this woman! She has been a loyal customer for 40 years!!! Is this how we treat people now? I feel like I’m on a damn ropes course with all the hurdles and red tape I have to face on a daily basis. Can we help people in these situations? Instead of kicking them while their down? I gave her a considerable discount on her service to do my part. Come on State Farm! I’m sure she has paid over $150,000 over the course of 40 years.
